Service Description

This week is geared towards new recruits for the Strings for Kids program in the Greenfield Public Schools, entering grades 3-5 who is interested in trying out the violin or the cello. We will be learning the essentials of playing a string instrument, learning about the instruments themselves, as well as listening to some inspiring recordings, and even watching some videos of great performers. We will meet as a large group as well as instrument-specific groups. 9:00 AM - 12:30 PM Half-day workshop with a mid-morning snack/movement break. GPS Subsidized Sliding scale: $200-$100-$60 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM Full-day workshop with a mid-morning snack/movement break, lunch break, and an afternoon session with free play and unstructured arts and music activities. Students bring their own lunch. Sliding scale: $400- $300 - $260 Register for more than one workshop week morning or afternoon session and use discount code SUMMERCOMBO24 to receive $25 off each workshop. We strive to ensure accessibility of our programs to all members of the community. Classes are offered at a reduced rate thanks to GPS subsidy and on a sliding scale.
