About the event

Sing or play along to Brahms' German Requiem at Millside Park, Easthampton. Live, in-person, and outdoors!

This Sing will be led by conductor and scholar E. Wayne Abercrombie, with the help of accompanist Larry Picard, soprano Mary Hubbell, and baritone Tianhui Ng.

Wayne is professor of music emeritus, former director of choral activities at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, and will be the PVS Chorus' interim direction during the upcoming transitional season.

Please choose to add a donation with your RSVP to help us compensate these fantastic artists.

Please bring your own seating and score, and you can even bring a picnic! We will have a few vocal scores available to lend; first come, first served. Instrumentalists can print their parts here.

Millside Park is an accessible space. There is parking on-site and along Ferry Street. Bathrooms are available.

RAIN DATE: Sunday, August 15 at 4PM in the same location.

Being outdoors does lower COVID transmission risk, but we encourage you to do what feels comfortable for you, like wearing a mask or distancing your seating. Want to wear a PVS mask? Organic cotton PVS masks are available for purchase here!
