Join the PVSOC, in partnership with Multi-Arts, at Mount Holyoke College's Abbey Memorial Chapel for an evening centered on Mozart's unfinished Requiem in D Minor, with a completion by Süssmayr. The program opens with a new work by composer Kiegan Ryan, and finishes with Beethoven's 5th Symphony.

In partnership with Multi-Arts. Families with children are invited to our concert, where the children will enjoy a short introduction and a musical performance by the orchestra before joining the hands-on art workshop, giving parents time to relax and enjoy the rest of the concert.
The art workshop is designed for children ages 5 and 12. Complimentary childcare is available for ages 2-4.

Ludwig van Beethoven - Symphony No.5 in C Minor
The Pioneer Valley Symphony travels to Mount Holyoke College's historic Abbey Memorial Chapel for an evening centered on Mozart's unfinished masterpiece, the Requiem in D Minor, with a completion by Süssmayr. The program opens with a new work by composer Kiegan Ryan, freshly commissioned by the St Paul Chamber Orchestra, Ryan intends to write a new piece that is an intimate portrait of people nearest and dearest to his heart. The concert finishes with Beethoven’s iconic fifth symphony with its renown knocks of Fate.
