Violinist and educator Edward Barnes brings a passion for inclusive music education to Western Massachusetts. Holding music degrees from St. Olaf College and UMass Amherst, Edward is a META Fellowship recipient and Suzuki-trained musician. They nurture young musicians' growth in both skill and self-love through their dedicated teaching approach. Edward's extensive performance background includes appearances at Carnegie Hall, tours across fifteen US states and Norway, and masterclasses with Midori and the Attacca Quartet. Their teaching is further enriched by experience as a two-time fellowship recipient of the National Symphony Orchestra's Summer Music Institute. Edward is grateful for the opportunity to support their students' growth and discovery of their unique voice.
