Celeste Godin will join the Pioneer Valley Symphony
on May 11, 2019 for our “Call to Peace” concert
Celeste Godin is a roster artist with Boston Opera Collaborative, having appeared with them last season as Mimi (La bohème) and in several one acts for the last two seasons. She regularly performs locally with groups around New England, such as the Commonwealth Chorale (Salieri Requiem, soloist), Hartford Opera Theater (Joyce, Triangle), Barn Opera (Fiordiligi, Così fan tutti), Odyssey Opera (chorus and featured soloist), Mass Opera (Miss Havisham in Miss Havisham’s Wedding Night, Kayla (cover) in Taking Up Serpents, and Rodolfo in La Femme Bohème), Lowell House Opera (Echo, Ariadne auf Naxos), Promenade Opera Project (Annio, Clemenza di Tito), White Snake Productions (Ku cover, Gilgamesh) and NEMPAC (Donna Anna, Don Giovanni). Last year she was one of eight district winners for the Boston chapter of the Metropolitan Opera Competition. She recently returned from Teatro Nuovo’s Resident Artist program, having covered the role of Creusa (Medea in Corinto). She graduated from New England Conservatory, (MM, Vocal Pedagogy, GD, Vocal Performance) and studies with Bradley Williams.
