Service Description

Do you know that concert ticket sales account for less than one-third the cost of producing a PVS Orchestra season? The PVS works on fundraising year-round, and many sponsors, donors (some PVS members among them), and funders answer the call. But there is still a big gap. All members of the PVS Orchestra & Chorus pay dues to help make the cost of their ensemble's rehearsals possible. Your membership dues help the Orchestra pay for our stellar director and accompanist, rehearsal venue, insurance, administrative support, and more. This listing will be live until May 1, 2025 during which time members may pay dues for the 2024-25 season. Please make either one payment for the full year, or two separate payments for each semester. If you'd prefer to pay by check, please mail your dues payment to PVS, 239R Main Street, Greenfield MA 01301. Because the PVS strives to ensure accessibility of our programs to all members of the community, dues are offered on a sliding scale. Please choose the dues rate that is right for you. $100 sem/$200 year EQUITABLE RATE: This rate helps to subsidize those who need to pay less. $80 sem/$160 year SUSTAINABLE RATE: The actual per-musician cost to sustain orchestra rehearsals. $60 sem/$120 year ACCESSIBLE RATE: Discounted dues for those who need assistance.
