This special concert event, commissioned by the PVS in 2021 from composer Jordan Kuspa, features teen detectives Gemma and Jake Nye, hired by the Maestro of an orchestra to find the sheet music which has been stolen on the eve of the big premiere! Gemma and Jake seek out clues to identify the culprit, helped along the way by musicians from the orchestra. Kuspa’s score accompanies the Nyes on their journey, treating the audience to a tapestry of instrumental music while the mystery unravels before their eyes.

The PVS Orchestra concert is delighted to have performed the piece LIVE for nearly 1,000 Franklin County, MA 3rd- and 4th-graders and their educators on April 13, 2023.
